Form 26AS

Form 26AS is your annual tax passbook — a consolidated statement under Section 203 of the Income Tax Act 2025 that shows all tax deducted (TDS), tax collected (TCS), and advance tax/self-assessment tax payments that have been credited to your PAN during the financial year. You can view it on the income tax portal (incometax.gov.in) under the ‘My Account’ section. Always verify Form 26AS against your Form 16 and bank statements before filing your ITR to catch missing or incorrect tax credits.

  • Form 16

A TDS certificate issued by your employer showing your salary income and tax deducted.
