Corrections policy

Errors happen. Here is the process.
FinWiz24 maintains a lot of moving numbers — tax rates change with every Budget, loan terms shift with RBI notifications, and provider schedules update without warning. When something on a page is wrong, we want to know. Corrections are the visible audit trail of that process.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with (1) the page URL, (2) the figure or statement you believe is wrong, and (3) the primary source — usually the Income Tax Act 2025, the Income-tax Rules 2026, a CBDT circular, or the provider's current schedule — that shows it. Screenshots help. Anonymous tips are processed, but a reply address speeds things up.
What happens next
We re-verify against the primary source within 48 hours. If the page is wrong, we fix it the same day where the error could affect a tax filing or product decision (rates, limits, eligibility). If the report is incorrect, we explain why — no silent rejections.
How corrections appear
A corrected page keeps its URL and gains an updated "last reviewed" date; material changes to a rate or limit are described here with before/after. We never delete a correction — an honest log is more useful than a perfect-looking one.
Correction log
2026: tax explainer corpus has been through an initial verification round against the Income Tax Act 2025 and Income-tax Rules 2026. No externally-reported corrections have been logged yet; that means you may be first, and that is fine.
