What this policy covers
FinWiz24 ("we", "us") publishes independent tax and financial information at https://www.finwiz24.com. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). It covers only this website; financial product providers and other third parties have their own policies.
Data we collect
We run an information-only site with no accounts, no forms that store data, and no newsletter. Concretely, we handle: (1) standard server logs (IP address, request path, user agent, timestamp) kept by our hosting layer for security and operations; (2) query-string values you type into search or calculator pages — these become normal URLs and are never tied to you personally.
Why we process data
Legitimate purposes only: securing and operating the site, measuring which pages are used so we know what to update (aggregate analytics via GA4), and responding to your emails. We do not sell personal data, and we do not let third parties monetise it.
How long we keep data
Server logs are rotated routinely by our hosting layer. Emails you send us are kept while the conversation is open and deleted when resolved, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
You may request information about the personal data we hold about you, ask for correction or erasure, and nominate another person to exercise these rights. To make a request, email [email protected]. We acknowledge requests within 72 hours and fulfil them within a reasonable time; we may ask for identity verification first. You also have the right to withdraw consent and to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our content is aimed at adults (18+) in India. We do not knowingly process children's data; if you believe a child's data reached us, write to us and we will delete it.
