What we are transparent about
How the site earns money, how content decisions are made, what happened to retired pages, and what we do with reader data. Trust is earned by showing the machinery, so each of those gets its own page linked from this one.
Revenue
Two sources: Google AdSense on editorial pages (mechanism and per-page disclosure on the affiliate disclosure page) and calculators built for fintax24.in. We publish no audited revenue figures — as a private publication that is ours to keep — but the model is disclosed, and no lender or government body can buy placement or an omission.
Content decisions
Scoring is described in the review methodology. Fact-checking is described in the fact-check policy. Every correction we accept appears in the corrections log. Tax explainer pages carry section references with verification dates; when the law changes, the page keeps a dated change note rather than silently replacing the old text.
Government and legal requests
We have received no government requests for reader data. There is almost none to give: no accounts, no stored browsing, no personal profiles. Analytics is Google Analytics 4, whose `_ga` cookie identifies a device for aggregated reporting — never an individual — and our privacy policy explains the cookie and how to opt out. If a lawful request ever arrives, this section will describe it without the legally restricted details.
Ask the rest
Transparency is a practice, not a checkbox. Questions the published pages cannot answer are worth adding to it: [email protected].
