Ownership

FinWiz24 LLP was founded in October 2021 and is registered in Palitana, Gujarat, India. The founding team owns 100% of the equity; we have not raised institutional venture capital. We have no commercial shareholders whose returns depend on us favouring one bank over another.

Revenue model

We earn revenue in three ways:

  1. Affiliate commissions. When you click a "Apply" button on a card page and the issuing bank approves your application, the bank pays us a commission. The commission is disclosed on every card page that carries an Apply link — see the small print below the button. See Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
  2. Display advertising. We sell a small number of ad slots on category and blog pages via Google AdSense. Editorial pages (cards, banks, comparisons, reviews) are ad-free by policy.
  3. Premium tools (optional). An optional paid tier unlocks the Lounge Finder, Reward Calculator Pro, and unlimited Q&A. The free tier covers every decision 95%+ of our readers actually make.

Editorial firewall

The business team (which negotiates affiliate rates) and the editorial team (which writes card pages) report to different leads and operate in different Slack workspaces. The business team has no editorial privileges. The editorial team has no insight into the per-card commission rates. This is documented in our internal Editorial Policy and audited annually.

What we don't do

  • We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or write about a specific card.
  • We do not sell or share user-level browsing data with card issuers.
  • We do not allow card issuers to edit or delete reviews.
  • We do not allow advertisers to retarget users who visited our card pages.
