Lounge Access — Other Cities
Lounge access for other cities refers to airport lounge benefits available at airports beyond the major metros such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Many premium and super-premium credit cards include lounge access through networks such as Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, or American Express Centurion, which contract with airport lounges across India. These programmes typically cover smaller airports where business travellers may need to connect, including cities such as Jaipur, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Indore, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, and Cochin. The number of free visits allowed per year varies by card tier — entry-level cards may offer two to four visits annually, while premium cards can offer six or more. Access is normally granted by presenting the credit card and a boarding pass for a same-day flight, along with a valid government-issued ID. Some lounge programmes operate on a per-visit billing model where the card issuer pays the lounge directly, while others use a digital pass or QR code system. Cardholders should check which lounge networks their card belongs to and whether the programme covers the specific airports they travel through most frequently.
